Bella: My journey


Passion

I enjoy having such a great opportunity to share the things I love, the ideas  I discover and some of my most personal moments with a growing loyal community. I consider this platform an ongoing creation with so much potential to grow and evolve. My love affairs with challenges has never come to a stop. I believe that welcoming challenges has played an important role in my self esteem.

Being a dreamer , I have always planned on becoming a lot of things since childhood. When I was little I wanted to be a journalist , filmmaker , actress , singer, pilot altogether. As I grew old I realized that life is too short to accomplish everything we want to be.


"Nothing is as important as passion. No matter what you want to do with your life , be passionate." by Jon Bon Jovi. Therefore , I have decided to pursue my passion and develop it. I've always liked to film things and dreamed of making films directed by me. Now I have the tools to start : a team with similar interests , multicultural artistic community and  professional guidance that inspires me to come up with brilliant ideas.

Journey of success always has a start but never an end. I believe I can achieve a lot through this journey and from here I can start applying my passion with passion.

I do not know who is going to read this text and in return the reader probably does not know me either. However, I think I would like to bridge this gap.  I have been involved with ZID since Karolina started directing Odyssey until now, with FATE project. I am not sure how familiar people outside Greece are with the epic poem of Odyssey, but since I am from Greece, I would like to share some information about it. This epic poem was composed before even the Greek language was formed and passed on different generations through storytelling and songs. It follows the previous work of Homer, named Iliada which focuses on the war against Troy. Odyssey describes the long journey of coming back home to Ithaca (20 years). In both epic poems the cruelty of war is exposed. Gods are deeply involved in the story, making things complicated for the hero, who has limited power over his own fate.  A vital concept of the Greek culture is present in Odyssey: Philoxenia. Sevde Yildirim: Reis naar een nieuw wereld

Sinds drie maanden begon ik een nieuwe reis met FATE-project. Dit project is tot nu toe het meest opwindende en waardevolle moment in mijn leven geweest. Ik heb twee verschillende project gemaakt. De eerste was theater performance met verschillende achtergrond deelnemers. De tweede was een filmproject over vrijheid. Het was ontzettend leuk om met andere mensen samen te werken, ervaringen te delen en nieuwe ideeën te genereren. Dankzij dit project verbreedde mijn perspectief en creativiteit vaardigheden en kreeg ik de kans om mezelf meer te ontdekken. Ik voel me nu meer sterker en gemotiveerder om mijn dromen waar te maken. Daan Bosch: FATE has developed NO FEAR!

Even though it has been silent here, the FATE project has been more busy then before! After the training finished in the summer of 2021, production of a theater show have started   - Waar staat FATE project nu in het proces?   Het project id nu in zijn laatste fase. We zijn begonnen met 30 deelnemers met verschillende kunst disciplines. Deze volgden een training van 3 maanden. Daarna hadden we een zomervakantie en zijn we aan de slag gegaan met het maken van de voorstelling “no fear”  De afgelopen maanden hebben we met eigen materiaal een voorstelling gemaakt. Deze gaat over een maand in première en daarna op toer door Nederland en Spanje.   - Hoe zou je je ervaring met het werken met FATE deelnemers beschrijven? Als zeer leerzaam en leuk en uitdagend. Het is een reis die je maakt met allemaal prachtige mensen en performers. Iedereen heeft zijn eigen doel en droom.
